PRAISE REPORTS
PRAISE God for His blessings at the Escondido Street Faire on Sunday the 19th. In the photo above volunteer Jo Hadley tells the message of salvation through the colors of the Wordless Book bracelets the kids have made. The weather was fine all day. We had 110 kids and parents stop by the booth to hear the Gospel, and 18 made professions of faith in Christ as their Savior. We gave out almost 300 Bibles on CD and lots of kids enrolled in the CEF Mailbox Club.
PRAISE
the Lord for the ten mothers who came to the first planning
meeting for a new Good News Club at Olivenhain Pioneer School in
Carlsbad. There was LOTS of enthusiasm to get the club up and
running. Two team members from our club at El Camino Creek School
came to lend encouragment and advice. (Please pray as the team
continues to organize and plan for a start date in January.)
PRAYER NEEDS
PRAY for a room big enough for our Felicita School club in Escondido which keeps growing! Last week there were 95-100 kids and the MP room which was available the week before couldn't be used. Please pray for a workable solution to this great blessing of numbers!
PRAY for our Good News Club at Farr Avenue School in Escondido (above) which starts on Tuesday. Please pray for the team and its new members as they work together to reach the kids for the Lord. Pray that all will go smoothly the first day. Pray for a good turnout and that the kids will come prepared to hear and respond to the teaching from the Bible.
PRAY for our new GNC for Neighbors which starts on Tuesday at Redwood Terrace Retirement Community in Escondido. Pray that the Lord will bless the volunteers and the kids as they minister to the needs of the seniors and that all of them will grow in faith and love as they meet together around God's Word.
PRAY for our GNC at Rose School in Escondido which starts on Thursday. We are moving to the early dismissal day of the week this season. Please pray that lots of new kids will be there along with many returning from last season. Pray that God would work through the volunteer team to bring the light of Christ to this school.
PRAY for team members for our GNC-in-progress for Bonsall Elementary School. Pray that volunteers will respond to announcements in two area church bulletins. Please pray that the club will be able to start soon.
