Praise & Prayer Bulletin 12.1.08

PRAISE
God that our Good News Club at Ada Harris School in
Cardiff has been scheduled to start up again on January 20!
(Please be in prayer that the club will be able to use the room
we had last season and that our switch from Mondays to Tuesdays
will be approved. Pray for the team as they get ready and for
their health. Pray for the kids, parents, and staff.)
PRAISE
the Lord that our GNC at Reidy Creek School in Escondido
which began at the end of last season (photo above) has been
approved to start again! The Lord has been bringing a team
together and they are scheduled to go on January 14. (Please pray
for the team leader who will be coordinating a club for the first
time and for the other volunteers who are new to GNCs. Pray as
they prepare the Bible lessons from the book of Esther and the
memory verse teachings. Pray that the Lord would be speaking to
each one and drawing them closer to Him and each other as they
work together to reach the kids.)
PRAYER NEEDS
PRAY as our Mission Estancia GNC starts up this Tuesday! Pray for a great turnout of kids the first day and that they'll be eager to listen and learn from God's Word. Pray that the truth would be heard and acted on! Pray that week by week the club would grow in numbers and in the influence it has on the daily lives of the boys and girls, their families, and on the school as a whole. Pray for extra helpers needed on the team.
PRAY for a special meeting of the El Camino Creek School GNC on Friday. The kids will be learning about the birth of God's Son in Bethlehem and about why He came to our world. Pray for each child who has not yet trusted in the Savior.
