PRAISE REPORTS

PRAISE the Lord that a team is coming together for the new Good News Club at Casita Center School in Vista and that a start date of Sep 24 has been set. (Please be in prayer for a smooth approval process as we submit the application this week.)



PRAISE God for answering prayer for the health needs of GNC team leader Judy Erickson as she looks ahead to the upcoming season at Glen View School and Reidy Creek School (photo above) in Escondido, as well as her grandkids' school in Temecula. (Please continue to pray for urgent need for volunteers to complete the teams so that these three schools will be able to have clubs this year.)

PRAYER NEEDS



PRAY for our upcoming Teachers Forum training classes for Good News Club volunteers (photos above and below from last season). They start Sep 12 in Escondido and Sep 14 in Carlsbad with the lesson series "Beginnings" based on the first 9 chapters of Genesis. Pray that the Lord would make it possible for lots of our returning and new volunteers to attend the 5 sessions during the season. Pray that He would use the classes in team members' lives to draw them closer to Himself as we study God's Word together and that everyone who attends would learn things that will help them to reach and teach kids more effectively. PRAY for GNC teams as they begin meeting to plan their new seasons. Pray that the Lord will guide as they make decisions on the day of the week to meet, the starting date, task assignments, etc. Pray for creative ideas and new ways to make improvements. Pray that as teams work together the Lord will bring His love and unity. Pray that He will help team members to edify and encourage one another in their Christian lives.
