Enoch and Noah come to Teachers Forum, Sep. 12 & 14



The Bible says that Enoch "walked with God" and that Noah was "heir of the righteousness which is by faith". Their stories are part of our first Good News Club series of the season, "Beginnings", and at our upcoming free Teachers Forum sessions for GNC volunteers we'll be learning how to make their lives apply to the lives of kids today. PRAISE REPORTS



PRAISE God for Good News Clubs that are already approved and scheduled to start, like Hope School, in its second season. The principal has posted our flyer on the school website: http://www.hope.schoolloop.com/goodnewsclub



PRAISE the Lord for progress by our volunteer Terri Nagem in interesting the churches of Ramona in getting involved in sponsoring Good News Clubs in the schools, such as Ramona Elementary where Terri works (photo above). She emails: " I am excited to update you about the good news in Ramona. I did not get a lot of response so I contacted the churches again today and asked if I could physically come and run the DVD and be a spokesperson.  I received a very positive response and one church even set me up with two possible dates.  Please continue to pray that God will open the way for the good news in the schools of Ramona."

PRAYER NEEDS

PRAY for Dee Abell who led our new GNCs last season at Willow Grove and Stone Ranch schools in the Poway district. She had the opportunity to present the ministry to a church which meets at Willow Grove and writes: "Been doing some summer overtime work looking for volunteers for GNC's.  I am hoping that this church will eventually take over Willow Grove.  My vision is to reach Adobe Bluffs, Sunset Hills, and Del Sur.  Please keep my vision on your prayer list.  I am hoping to start them and as soon as I get the volunteers to come on board, I will move on to the next school.  I know this vision is from God, and since it is, I know He will stir the hearts to get it going, just like last year!"

PRAY for the need of a new volunteer at the Reidy Creek School GNC for transportation from Fallbrook to the club each week in northern Escondido.

PRAY with the team at our Felicita School GNC about the blessings and needs this season. Leader Mary Schuhler emails, "Praise God that as two ladies have been prayer walking in Felicita School's neighborhood, they are starting to see how God is working at a church to meet the practical and spiritual needs of Felicita's Hispanic families.  Pray that God would draw workers from the local churches to step out and staff the many needs for GNC leaders this year.  Pray that God would provide a room/s and sponsoring teacher for the club. Pray for healing for the voice of one the teachers (Mary) so she can teach if that is the Lord's plan.  Lastly, please pray that God would stir a great excitement among the Felicita students to come to GNC, especially among the 4th and 5th graders.

PRAY again that the Vista school district will resolve the school's denial of use of facilities for our planned GNC at Casita Center School. They called on Thursday saying they hoped to have the matter cleared up by Friday, but word never came. Pray that approval will be granted this week.
