PRAISE REPORTS



PRAISE the Lord for the warm fellowship and solid time of study at our Teachers Forum session on Monday in Carlsbad (photo above). Seven GNCs were represented, and some brand new volunteers were there to get equipped to bring truths from the book of Genesis to the kids in our schools. Please pray for these faithful soldiers of the Lord out on the front lines!



PRAISE the Lord for this report called in by team leader Marian Kisling on Friday after the first meeting that afternoon of the GNC at Richland School in San Marcos (photo above): "We had a fabulous club today! There were around 30 kids plus about 6 more who came by with their permission slips and weren't able to stay, but will be there next week. The whole class went so smoothly. The helpers are wonderful -- I'm really thankful for these helpers! We are so blessed -- thank you for praying."



PRAISE God that the GNC at James Dukes School in Ramona (above) is all set to go! Our application and the approval of flyers sailed through, and the club is scheduled to start Oct 14. Please ask the Lord to bring some additional helpers for the team. (And please keep praying for other Ramona schools where there is interest in seeing GNCs, including Ramona Community Day School and Ramona Elementary School.)

PRAISE the Lord for answered prayer! He has brought together a full team for Farr Ave. School in Escondido, as we asked you to pray for last week. The application is in, with a scheduled start date of Oct 20. Please pray for a good room assignment for the club.

PRAYER NEEDS



PRAY that the kids at Beaumont School in Vista will soon have the Good News Club meeting there again. Pray for Pastor Sam Cracchiolo of Calvary Chapel Vista who led the new club there last season (and also at Temple Heights School) as he seeks to recruit the additional volunteers needed for those two teams. Pray that parents from these schools will step up to serve the Lord by helping at the clubs.

PRAY for new team leader Brooks Barnhard as he seeks the additional volunteers needed for the GNC that started last season at Stone Ranch School in the Poway District. We have already received approval for the club, but can't schedule a start date until the Lord brings helpers! Pray for committed Christians to reach the kids.

PRAY for a full team for the GNC at Mission Meadows School in Vista, which started last season. Leader Maureen Slottje emails: "We have 3 of us committed to start again and 1 returning from Germany the first of Oct who may wish to continue. We prayed and discussed and looked at the Vista calendar and decided we need at least 1-2 more workers. In lieu of this, we are targeting starting in Jan. Please put us on the prayer list asking for workers, and we will be doing the same."



PRAY for a mother from Paloma School in San Marcos (photo above) who would like to see a GNC at this school. She found out about GNCs at her church from Richland School team leader Marian Kisling, who teaches the Sunday school class her daughter attends. The daughter asks for prayer at Sunday school for her unsaved schoolmates and would like to see them learning about Jesus at school! Please pray for this mom as she spreads the word, and ask the Lord to help her get a team together.

Hope School in Carlsbad starts Tuesday, Sep 22, 2:30-3:30pm.



Ada Harris in Cardiff starts Tuesday, Sep 22, 2:50-3:55pm.



Reidy Creek in Escondido starts Wednesday, Sep 23, 2:40-3:40pm.



Glen View in Escondido starts Thursday, Sep 24, 1:30-2:30pm.



Casita Center in Vista starts Thursday, Sep 24, 2:35-3:35pm.

Please ask the Lord to graciously bless these clubs with LOTS of kids who will come ready to hear from Him and ready to respond to what they hear! Pray that the Holy Spirit will empower the Bible teachers as they prepare their lessons and as they present God's Word to the boys and girls. Pray that unsaved kids will come to understand who Jesus is and trust in what He has done for them, and that Christian kids will learn things that will help them live out their faith at school and at home.
