(for over 50 years!) to kids and parents at the fair.
WHERE:
CEF's
Story Castle at Del Mar.
WHEN: June 11 - July 5. Choose a

WHO: Teams of Christians serving
together for 3 to 5 hours -- be a presenter or just a helper.
HOW: Telling the message of
salvation through colors in a way that kids can grasp.
WHY: Jesus said so!

PRAISE
REPORTS
PRAISE the Lord for good reports coming
in as our Good News Club season wraps up. On the phone on
Saturday Patti Dowell, team member from the club at Bonsall
Elementary (above), was sharing her thankfulness for
being part of a wonderful team of dedicated fellow believers
serving a wonderful group of attentive and responsive children.
"Our Good News Club in Bonsall was a huge success. We praise
and thank God for the children who attended and for our team
leaders. We were indeed blessed!"
PRAISE God that 5 kids showed
up on Friday for the Teen Good News Club at Oak Valley Middle
School in the Poway district. Leader Kelly DeHaan called to
say how encouraged she was. Please pray that the Lord would take
this small start at the end of the school year and multiply it
into a thriving club next season.
PRAISE the Lord for a teacher at Casita Center School
in Vista who has volunteered use of her room for our Good News
Club there when it starts up again next school year. An adequate
room has been an ongoing need of the club.
PRAYER
NEEDS
PRAY that we'll have lots of first-time volunteers at this
year's SD County Fair ministry, and that the Lord would so bless
them as they serve that they'll want to get more involved in
reaching the kids! Please pray also that many of our GNC
volunteers who are new this year will sign up to be at the fair,
too. Pray that church youth groups will get involved.
PRAY as team leader Marian Kisling meets with the
principal about getting use of an adequate room for our
newly-started GNC at Lake School (Vista district) for next
season. Please pray that we'll be granted use of the
multi-purpose room or other large room on a day that will work
for the volunteer team.
PRAY for plans for a 5-Day Club at John
Landes Park in Oceanside. Linda Gonzalez, who has led a club
there in previous years, is working to get a team together to
reach that neighborhood again, where the response was very good.
Please pray for the needed helpers and for the Lord's guidance.
